This is not about you know who

Or anyone whatsoever

Dear government authorities:

This post is not about government censorship of anyone who fails to deify a certain political activist who opposed government censorship.

This is not about the government threatening to punish the free media and free speech — especially from comedians, who, for centuries, have dared to mock kings — if they don’t censor themselves for failing to deify the political activist.

This is also not about how the bones of America’s founders are rattling in their graves as our 250th anniversary approaches and our light for democracy dims.

This definitely is not calling the esteemed, beloved, greatest President of the United States der Führer, his cabinet der Reichstag, or his deputy chief of staff for political and ethnic cleansing Reichsführer of the Schutzstaffel.

Only liberal America haters fear the threat by der Führer’s Attorney General to punish “hate speech,” which she defined as speech that fails to deify the political activist who stood up for hate speech. The AG took it back, but definitely not in a wink-wink way.

This is not at all suggesting that MAGAs are anything like the National Socialist German Workers’ Party that swallowed Hitler’s promise of national renewal. Then righteously saluted their leader through the Holocaust to defeat, death, and devastation that hit the working class the hardest.

This is not to tell MAGAs to wake up because they’ll hear “woke,” which is verboten.

This is not about how the Greatest President Ever, his Reich, and his Reichsministerium für Volksaufklärung und Propaganda are attacking, suppressing, and punishing political opponents, even fellow citizens, like Stalin, Mao, and U.S. Sen. Joe “Red Scare” McCarthy did.

This is not about how—like the NRA warned about — jack-booted government thugs in black storm trooper uniforms are harassing and intimidating law-abiding people unconstitutionally.

Like rounding up poor, innocent workers because they’re not carrying the proper papers — on paper! — and shipping them to squalid, faraway camps without due process, treating them as guilty without a chance to prove innocence, because of their ethnicity. As der Reichsführer of the Schutzstaffel watches with dead-eyed satisfaction as their children wail in terror, even if he’s of Eastern European Jewish descent.

I’m not saying we’re a boiling frog on a slippery slope to a fascist military dictatorship. That’s ridiculous. Even liberals who hate America know parboiled grenouille can’t ski.

I’m also not citing German pastor Martin Niemöller’s warning poem, “First they came.”

I’m not saying anything about anyone. I need to protect my family and friends from being dragged in for questioning because I dared to speak my mind.
